Getting to know you...

We've been anticipating this day for a full month, literally! Micah is 4 weeks old today and it's amazing how much he has changed. His body has filled out so well, he's very alert listening and following voices and movement. Stan & I have had a wonderful day getting to know him and spending time with Jason & Dollie. We've taken some really good pictures and I'll post just a few here.

I love this 1st one... grandpa was burping Micah and humming very deeply. I think he really liked the vibration - was very quiet and still, almost as if he were listening carefully.


Jason, Dollie, and Micah will be in KC in 3 weeks for Dollie's baby shower/open house/meet 'n greet Micah. We know he'll change so much in that short period of time. At 7 weeks he'll probably be cooing and smiling. He's already concentrating very hard on what we say and wanting to talk.
